What is a Good Low cost MPEG Editor? I use Sage TV 4.1 on my HTPC and it outputs DVD Compliant MPEG Files. But I need a good and easy to use basic editor to cut out the commericals on my shows before I archive them to DVD. Thanks

I think you may be able to use the MPEG tools built into the free version of TMPGEnc. You have to pay to encode MPEG2, but, I think they don't make you pay to simply use the tools even with MPEG2 files.

If that doesn't work, dig around a little (particularly start at doom9.org.) I think you can find a free tool for splicing, cutting, and such, which is what it sounds like is all you need. You shouldn't need (or want) to actually reencode.
