What if the difference btw these 2 mobo's

Huge difference in price but all I can see is the ud5p vs ud5 descriptor.
Any help for a newb?

I would say they are the same since there is no GA-MA790FXT-UD5 on the Gigabyte website, might just be a typo:

its a Typo, read the discription on the Fry's site, it lists it as a Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P several times.

I don't have the specific board but 790FX is the best AMD chipset available now and people at Xtremesystems are happy with their board:

Well crap... went to the local Fry's and they are clearancing out that board (hence the price) and NONE had the board in stock..... So much for that.
