What hardware should I keep?

(i hate the expression 'first world problem', but i'll be a douche (feel free to flame) and admit that is exactly what this is)

I made a few purchases on a desperate whim, and of course shortly after fixed the original problem, so now I need to slim down some hardware. What should I keep?

i7 3820 + asus p9x79 (standard) -or- fx 8350 + crosshair forumla z: keeping the i7 will allow me to keep my extra ram, but I don't think I was utilizing everything to begin with. I'm excited about the eventual am3+ upgrade possibilities, whereas I doubt I will invest much more into the x79 unless the prices are decent (are there even going to be 2011 upgrades?). all i really do is game and music/daw (reaper & samplitude + VSTs)

2*sapphire 6950 -or- gigabyte gtx 760: the 6950s where originally the reason for all this upgrading, but I've since gotten them sorted out. just got the 760 this week. power isn't really a concern. i've also lucked out w/ the sapphires. even though they are the dirt 3 edition, they are from one of the batches that did allow the extra shader unlocking (never tried oc'ing to 6970 speeds tho)

(side question, are the 6950s suitable for mining? something i need to start looking into)

kuhler 620 hsf, nzxt case + psu to hold everything [ignore the sig, it's horribly out of date]

Keep the FX 8350 and Crosshair Formula Z. You seem to have no interest in your i7-3820/P9X79 setup, and you don't really need a lot of RAM for your needs.

Unless there are issues with one of your HD 6950s, keep them. Could you return (versus sell off) the GTX 760?

What do you mean by mining?

Which specific NZXT case and PSU (brand/model/age) do you have?
