It seems that dell and Newegg no longer sell this monitor. I called dell and they will no longer carry it. Whats up

only a couple weeks ago i was getting ready to buy this monitor from dell when it was on sale, they must have sold all of them and aren't getting more.....i was ready to pull the trigger too

It’s that time of year guys, new models coming out. ;)

Nothing will, people are saying NEC is killing off their CRT monitors for good. :(

Nec, Sony etc are all doing that. Problem is anytime anyone mentions it the flames fly in here like a napalm attack. Speak softly when you touch on this subject ;)

How much was this monitor going for? I'm probably going to sell mine to get the vp201b.

The NEC version or mitsu? Doing a pricegrabber search on 930sb, it's selling for $670.. I don't understand.

There is no NEC version. The 930SB is labeled Misubishi. There is a NEC FE991SB that has slightly inferior specs though

There was an NEC version...the 912...but that was discontinued many months ago for some reason. I do hope they bring out successors to their top-end CRTs like Sony still does with its XBR HDTVs....though that might be wishful thinking!

Sony killed off their cheap crts, But I think they still make their "Insane" expensive Crts for CAD people, pro's etc (people that need a REAL quality image, as close to Real life colours at possible etc) things lcds just can't do.
