Just curious what fps you all like. I know some play XXXXX game at 1600x1200 with aa and af on and get 45-50fps.

I'm not one of them I play maximum monitor support 1280x1024. Details on high but w/o aa and af. The way I figure is if 45-50fps is average than it may dip below 30fps. I like to stay at 80+.
 
I've gotten down to 19fps in CoH before and remained happy at the gameplay. I like around 40-50 though, but always more the merrier.
 
In Counterstrike it needs to be 60+ preferably 80+ in everything else 30 is usually good...

Unfortunately, that means running at 800x600 with everything on high, shadows on low, 4xAA, 8xAF

My CPU just can't handle it.
 
Agree, depends on the game. With 1st person shooters I like to have higher frame rates.
Same goes for online gaming.
