what else when speedfan does not run ?

Please do yo know/use some other software for fan monitoring / changing then Speedfan ?

I have just received and installed Abit AV8 (KT880 PRO) and speedfan does not work. It doesnt read any temps or fan speeds so no regulation / monitoring possible. And supplied software from Abit for monitoring sucks. :(
