I got a 9800pro and im using the catalyst 4.9 drivers.

I heard the 4.11 and 4.12beta are out and was wondering what driver do you people recommend i should use?

From research, I found the 4.10 drivers are horrid so what driver would give me the best performance for gaming? 4.11, 4.12beta or shall i stick with the4.9?

This is crazy, i know many people here are using the 4.11 and 4.12betas, please someone must know what one is better!
 
Why don't you download them both and test them out? What people don't understand is there is hardly ever a "best" of anything in the computer world, because there are some many different configurations. What works best for you may be different from someone else. What works best for them may not even WORK for you. It's a matter of preference. If I told you that these drivers where "teh ultra best!!11" compared to the ones you're using, and the ones I recommend got you 20 less FPS, would you use them?
 
Its a lot of work and hassle uninstalling, reinstalling and benchmarking 3 different drivers. Like most things in the pc world, people spend the time to test these things out and post them on the internet with a comparision.

Whenever a new catalyst driver comes out, i always come here to find out

a) are the new drivers any good
b) are they better than what im using at the current time

and ive always found the answer, i have been doing this for months, and i did it when the last driver was released the 4.10.

We now have 2 people here wondering which is better OVERALL between the 4.11 and 4.12betas, im just wondering if anyone has tested these.
 
I just switched from the omega's to the new 4.12 betas (losing 300 points in aquamark, but a better in game performance) In my previous tests I have noticed just a small incremental increase over the 4.11's but I am satisfied with the 12's.
 
I don't mean to start anything, but this is exactly what I mean. You say OVERALL... well, for you and someone else it's completely different. Certain games and apps lose or gain performance with each driver release, so it depends on what YOU need.

Yes, it is a lot of work to do it, so I wouldn't get ticked off and yell when someone hasn't posted... because it's a lot of work.

Just get the new 66.93 drivers... they are teh ultra best!!!111
