What drivers should I use?

I have an XFX 7600 GT and am running Win XP Pro x64.

The drivers I am using haven't been updated since November 06, and I was wondering if some of the newer XP drivers or Vista drivers would work better in my system?

Here is what prompted me to ask this.

I ran a 3dmark benchmark, and some of the similar systems are spanking me. And the biggest difference I can see is the driver version.

Mine is listed as 6.14.10.9371, while the others seem to be running 8.4.2.1.

Furthermore, could someone explain to me the reasoning behind the version numbers. For instance, the forceware version I am running is

ForceWare Release 90
Version: 93.71
Release Date: November 2, 2006
WHQL Certified

I noticed that the last four numbers in my version match up with that, what about the 8.4.2.1, what forceware version is that?
