What Does "USB 3.0 x 2 (internal)" Mean?

I know that I've ordered servers with internal USB ports. They are most often used to securely house a thumb drive for hosting your hypervisor on. These 2 internal ports could be used for bluetooth, wifi, or wireless keyboard/mouse adapters.

Well when usb 3.0 first came out most cases with 3.0 ports had you run a cable out the back of the case and you plugged them into the usb 3.0 ports on the back of the motherboard. Probably what they are trying to say is that the usb 3.0 ports on this case use an internal header off of the motherboard instead of being run out the back and using the back usb 3.0 ports.
