I assume that to do things like design fermi you would need a PHD in computer engineering or the like, right? Do most people there have a MS/PHD?
 
Yep.

Or have at least 10+ years of experience in electronic engineering or related industry.
 
Or know someone who has influence there that usually helps to at least get a foot in the door
 
ill be the sarcastic prick and say the ability to screw up a driver set.... lol
