What does +2,5v rail do exactly?

Hey guys, i have built a rig here and it keeps rebooting itself randomly when i was surfing or anything. Checked the voltages via Everest and saw that +2.5v line stays around 1.49v. I think this is the reason. Mainboard should be faulty. Can you tell me what that line exactly do please?

There is no 2.5V rail.

Your motherboard uses DDR? Could it be the DDR voltage?

I seriously doubt you system would even boot if the memory were supplied with those kinds of volts. Many boards can't even set anything below stock (DDR) volts anyway... I'd say you mobo (and/or Everest, software tools are notoriously wrong, even more so than the BIOS) is simply reading the value wrong (as usual).

Did you turn off auto-restart? Control Panel > Adv System Settings > Advanced > Startup and Recovery/Settings > Uncheck 'Automatically Restart' under 'System Failure'.

[edit] Something's fishy come to think of it (and again Everest would be wrong in this case still). You specs seem to indicate you're running a DDR2 (AM2?) system.
