Once you have O/C, what software do you use to test your cpu ?

Prime95 ?
Hot cpu tester ?
Super PI ?

Etc...

Do you avoid Prime 95 because it always fail while other software dont fail ?

I usually run Folding@Home for 8 hours straight for CPU testing. Prime95 has also been a good choice for me as well. For memory testing, I boot off a Memtest86+ disk and run it overnight.

Prime95 will check the output of calculations ensuring that there are no problems. Anything that doesnt do this isnt really testing much.

yeap everything else just stresses your cpu. prime95 makes sure that your cpu is performing correct calculations.

Not really, no. Not to the extent that Prime95 does, if at all.

Just stick with prime.

memtest and prime should only stay at the labs. For benchmarking or gaming oc your cpu to the max stable (with a good cooling) and you'll be allset :D . For office, surfing etc. just use stock speed.
