I have a triple radiator with a MCP655 12v pump going through a CPU and North Bridge block. I realized I haven't cleaned the loop is over 2 years... I have a Swiftech reservoir, which seems to be clean (I had leak issues which I now fixed, forcing me to refill the loop every week or so...)
But once the temp went overnight the first time the leak happened, I believe causing the pump to be damaged. I'm overclocking my Q6600 @ 3.6ghz with a vcore of almost 1.5v and still only get barely over 55C under load (37C idle) which isn't bad and shows the loop cools well... but Im sure the inside of the blocks are disgusting.
1) Do you think my pump suddenly vibrating A LOT is because it is damaged?
2) What product do you use to clean the loop?
I don't think I ever added any additive ever since I changed the demineralized water the first time.
Thanks!
