What do you think about this one?

What does everyone think of this case?

I want to get a new case when I get a second GFX card soon, because I will be using this cooler on both, and my 900 simply does not have the room below the lower PCIe 16 slot to accommodate the card with that cooler. But it looks like the Zalman has plenty of room, and the reviews I've read so far were all pretty good.

I just wanted to know if anyone has any input... Any experience... Or just a yey or nay.

If you have other suggestions for a case that would be fine as well. It has to have great airflow and be big enough to house 2 Ultras with the AC cooler attached. I don't mind if it costs a bit (obviously, since the Zalman is not what I would call cheap), however, I don't mind saving money if I can have a better or equally good case for less.

Thanks,

what’s the difference between this and the Zalman Fatal1ty?
anyway it’s a personal preference, whether you like it or hate it specially for a case like this one, it’s definitely a “cool” case though some will tell you it’s ugly cuz they only like flat sleek boring lifeless looking cases with a LiLi sticker on the back :D

Or on the front...:p

I could do without the Z-Machine logos everywhere, other than that I think its a great looking case and I'd love to have one. But that means I would have to get rid of my precious Lian Li V2000.

If you don't like it could you send it to me for inspection? ;) Help a brotha out. :D

Looks like a solid case, of course im sure it comes with a hefty pricetag as well.

For what you get in that case i dont think its worth the money, but thats just my 2 cents.

I really like that case... But the logos kill it for me.

Seriously Zalman, that hideous logo is on the case in about 5 spots. Wtf. We get it.

boo on the 80mms up front....way overpriced and not worth it IMO.

i vote for cm stacker 810 if you want lots of room for a decent price. i love mine! :)

This was a case that I had my sights on, until someone brought to my attention, what about the future and how long do you plan on keeping a case ? 18.9'' x 8.7'' x 16.3'' (DxWxH) size of this nice looking case for now but later on power supplies and video cards are going to get a little longer and how crampted will it get inside.

I decided on something else, but that is one nice looking case in my opinion

Its actually 2x 92mm fans.

Still seems outdated to me. 120mm is such a sweet spot for fan size, great CPM's, and low noise. 80mm and 92mm is just old tech to me. Hell, that whole case needs a serious remake for that price.

Possibly the most overpriced case I've ever seen. You'd be better off with a Lian-Li or high-end Coolermaster case.

I seriously think that new GFX cards are not going to get much larger. As a matter of fact, they will probably go down in size again.
The 2 92mm fans in the front are there instead of a single 120mm, because they deliver a better airflow around the HDD cage rather than a single fan trying to push air through it.
I have never been a fan of LiLi cases. I know they are good quality, but they look like a blank sheet of paper to me.

Logos and dual 92mm fans kill it =(

Shame though, it is a nice looking case.

QFT. Plus the 2 92 mm fans kinda look like a pair of eyes... besides, every single crappy case nowadays has a huge 120/140/240 mm fan in front. Zalman is trying to be different.

I REALLY like how this case looks. Would take it over any LiLi case any time. Like dr13zehn said, they all look plain and boring. I'm not building an SLI rig to put inside a boring black/silver box on wheels.

The only problem with this case is the price. Be it $250, then I'd already have 2.

The case is very nice quality they have one in my local frys and that is the only case that still looks decent while the rest of the cases are all torn up and broken from people poking at them, the zalman been there a long time but still looks great which speaks for quality but they are pricey.

The quality on this thing is on par with any top manufacturer out there. Its built like a tank with thicker metal (5mm panels!) than I've seen used on a consumer case before. It doesn't have all the frills of the newest and greatest out there but it does have some great features. The suspension hard drive mount in the front is great. Sure, dual 92s aren't as good as dual 120's but they aren't bad, and there is little to no restriction to cause extra noise or make you lose airflow.

For better or worse, I'm betting this case was designed around the other Fatal1ty branded stuff out there, and for those parts, it would be great. This isn't a case you buy to mod or pile a watercooling system in unless you have a cnc mill to cut through those behemoth panels.

Yes, that is my biggest hang up. It really seems to be a great case with thick walls (which will help keep it quiet too) and good build, but boy is it pricey.
