What do you think about this case

If you want it, then get it.

If you're looking for peer approval, you may have a bit of a wait.... Be patient. I'm sure there is someone out there -- somewhere -- that is going to say you are "Doing the Right Thing."

The whole right-wrong concept plumb evades me; I wish I could give you some encouragement, but I simply can't. I need my sleep.

I will go out on a limb and say that the case looks fine. Not sure if I would spend that $$ on that case, but in the end YOU are the one that has to live with it. If you like it, that is the only important thing.

Yeah...I'm not really sure why you need "approval"...if you like the case, get it, who cares what people think of it? Everyone thinks my case (see sig) is an ugly POS...but I liked it...got a good deal on it...did a bit of modding on it and I'm very pleased with it.

Anyway...what matters most is what YOU think of it. You're the one that's going to have to deal with it and look at it every day ;)

after a 5 second look at it I would say it's OK.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Edit: Upon further inspection, I noticed the lock, USB, and audio on the right side. The 6 drive bay's, the removeable mobo tray, the supposed aluminum front door, and the lack of a weight. I would say it's the same as every other case I've ever seen anyone say "it's the shit" about. But I would be worried about the weight issue, unless you don't care about shipping, and don't plan on taking it anywhere. I would try to figure out what that lock does as well, if it locks the from pannel, that would be 'the shit.' What is the white spot on the right side, above the USB, but below the audio, it looks like firewire.

On a side note, what is the point of a removeable mobo tray? Is it just for you lazy people that don't want to unscrew your, mobo when you take it out?

Keep the lighting blue and it could be a good case.

I don't believe it's worth the money you'll pay for it but thats just me.

I actually like the look, a little, but think it's expensive for the appearance.

Can I pretend that Monica Belluci comes with it?

I know it says it has front usb/audio but it must be hidden or behind a secret door. I wouldnt pay that much but it looks cool. Everyone charges a lot for an AL case atleast this one has some charecter with the side vents.

Thermaltakes are premodded POS's IMHO. I purchased a Antec Sonata and am modding right now and im very happy with it.

But go with what makes you happy man, not someone else.

it is roomy on the inside and has a lot of room but seems rather pricey.

Obviously you must like the looks so that not a issue.
But the outside of the case is aluminum that is only 1mm thick... that only .039" thick which is a little on the flimsy side in my opinion.
Also it looks like they saved a little money on the inside of the case ....
Otherwise the 120mm fans are better than 80mm that are in most cases and the ever so nice removable mother board tray is good too.

I have to say that is the best looking thermaltake case that I have seen. I would actually buy it and the only things wrong with it are the ports on the right side and unless the door is made of aluminum, I bet it is pretty flimsy......
Good lookin case though ;) .

Looks very cool. To bad I am stuck with fuck enlight or whatever the hell it is for a MACH II. The case has t be small enough to fit ontop of the cooling unit. really sucks. I have done the same old bs with window and things, but it gets old..esp when I see so many new cool cases out.

I think I don't like Tt, and that I don't like large amounts of plastic in my cases, and that I like designs that look like a bunch of monkeys are going to bow down to it...

come on guys, if you're just going to post something like:
"i hate thermaltake" or "thermaltake sucks" then don't post at all... at least give a reason.

anyways, if you're willing to shell out the money, go ahead and do it. I've had no bad experiances with Tt cases myself, and I really like the tsunami a lot. people like different things.

the case itself looks like it'd have great ventilation, except for when the front door is closed.
good luck with whatever you decide...

Exactly..It is all up to what you like. I could give a shit less who makes it. If it looks cool and does what I need...well, that is all that matters. :)

do what my wife says: if you like it buy it. Seems a bit pricy for no power supply, also if you air cool you may need more fans! Sort of odd looking IMO.

HERE IS MY REASON:
THEY suck and steal all there products from other companies and make them look like shit, and they are a POS

THERMALSHANK, THERMALSTANK, THERMALSUCK

lol, silly troll.
If you like the case, you've already made up your mind, your just looking for justification. If you really have to think this hard about it, you don't really want it. Get the case if you like it, ignore what the silly "I hate pre-mods" people say. You can always mod it if you find something you don't like.

*punts Lazaryn* that'd be Maze War, not Doom.

Thermaltake's not getting blamed for being uncreative, they're being blamed for making shoddy cheap knockoffs that aren't worth the materials they're made from.

MuDvAyNeDude122, people like different things, it's the way we work. Search the Net for a ton of reviews and read them all and make your own decision from the photos. If you like the case then buy it.

really, what company did they steal the themaltake shark from? if any other brand thought of the design of the shark, say coolermaster, or silverstone, you would like it.

since all of you are against pre modded cases, tell me, can you make that front bezel on the shark with a dremel and some spray paint?

Not against pre-modded cases in the slightest. Just against poor construction at bloated prices.

Personally, I think it's the ugliest thing I've ever seen.

It doesn't really matter what I think, though. From a technical aspect, there's nothing necessarily glaringly wrong with it; your components will run in it. Now, is it the kind of quality I'd expect for the price? Certainly not. But if you're happy with its features and looks then go for it.
