What do you guys think?

Hey guys, I was browsing Newegg.com and came across a couple power supply units from Seasonic that I think are new. I think Seasonic has new units called S12D 850 and 750 which are the possible wattage and capacities I'm looking for, but I want some insight on these units from anyone who has experience with them. Also I'd like to know anyone's opinion of other power supply units that are currently out on the market and have the same wattage.

I'm providing the links below for you to check them out and let me know if anyone who has had experience with these units recently would recommend them:

Thanks and hope to hear from y'all soon...

I wouldn't trust a PSU until I saw some load testing and ripple measurements. Fishing for opinions is about as useful as reading newegg reviews... not useful at all.

Even though they do have a history for good PSU's, perhaps you could go for a similar (but established) model from another company.

Also, what are the specs on your computer? You may not even need anywhere close to 850, so you might be able to save some money ;)

I am sure they are just the non-modular version of the M12D...but since the M12D is cheaper and a known quantity...you may as well just buy an M12D

My buddy recommended Seasonic's power supplies are decent but I haven't seen any S12D 750/850 review yet!! Since I am not in a hurry to buy a power supply, I will wait for a review to come out and compare other brands.

Seasonic doesn't make any bad PSUs, so even though these are untested, they're still a pretty safe bet. However, like HOOfan_1 said, the M12D units are already cheaper, so you may as well just go with those instead if you're looking for something from them.

Yeah I have to agree with Zero82z. Seasonic and Corsair are some of the few PSU companies I'd give a free pass to when proper reviews aren't available.
