oh hell again.. xD do not care even to answer.. thats the guy who consistently open 1 line Post to start flame wars in each section of the forum and just sit back to see how people fight.. and many of his threads are closed for that reason i saw him lot of times in OS forum and just never provide anything more in threads.. just ignore him..
I think SSHD's are a waste of everyones time. Hard drives are great at what they do, but they have flaws that have only been moderately improved over decades. Mostly due to the medium. SSD's are great at what they do, but they have some serious flaws that HDD's don't have.
The best of both worlds sounds like merging them together, but in reality it's a half-assed attempt by HDD Manufacturers to get into an emerging market while not stepping on their own business. Not to mention both a big hard drive and decent SSD are cheap enough to almost equal the pricing on some of these SSHD's.
Like most converged technologies, they suck. Running them in tandem (SSD C: drive and HDD D: drive) for instance is the future. Hard Drives will not be marginalized. We live in a era where people are building their own clouds and multimedia is continuing to explode year after year. SSD's on the other hand relieve some of the shortcomings that HDD's physically cannot ever overcome. Hard Drives will provide you the reliability and storage to make continuous backups and hold all your big data files.
