Those things that you plug your appliance into and shows how much power it's using.

I think one of them is called kill-a-watt, but that's a brand name and we don't have those. So when i go to the hardware store and i wanted a similar device, what do i tell them i'm looking for?
 
I've just been to two large malls and i may as well have brought a tape recorder because every electronic and hardware store I've been to, I had to describe what a watt Meter is :(

Too bad we don't have things like newegg over here :(
