What Do Water Block Nozzles Do?

From reading that I can guess that the nozzles go inside the barbs, and reduce or improve water flow?
Or are Nozzles the pattern on the copper (fins) that help absorb more heat into the water.

So what are Nozzles and What do they do?

They go into the TDX and RBX waterblocks under the inlet barb. They're there to break the waterflow up and cause it to be non-linear thereby exposing more molecules to the inner surface of the waterblock causing a better transfer of heat from that surface.

the nozzels are to direct the coolant stream between the fins inside of the block, at increased velocity.

more coolant velocity around the metal helps with cooling. getting that coolant velocity costs you some pumping head. too much restriction trying to get added velocity kills flow and reduces performance. too little velocity and the water just stagnates in contact with the block. balance between the two factors is needed for the block to perform well.

how much restriction results in a good balance depends on the strength of the pump used in the loop. there is no universal answer to how much restriction is optimal. DD sells a nozzle kit that lets you try several different nozzels with several levels of restriction to see which performs best in your loop.

They increase the velocity of the water and create more turbulence as a side effect when it hits whatever it hits (probably has something to do with Chaos Theory). However, I was just talking with someone else about black hole event horizons so the previous statement sounded good to me.

BTW, if you notice the outside temps going up in the next few 4-5 months you will have a prime example of my theory. This is because the water jets barely cause a break in the space-time continuum and it only goes a short way into the future.
