What do I need for Crossfire

Just some basic questions.
I know that I need a crossfire supported motherboard, that much I've solved.
I also need two video cards. I have an X1900GT and it says Crossfire ready graphics card on its box. My main question is, do I have to get a special card to use Crossfire? Can I just use two X1900GT's?

I recently bought another X1900GT to play with for a very good price and I'm wondering if I can use it for anything. The box of the second card says Crossfire enabled, but it doesn't have the Crossfire edition box checked. I'm guessing you need one card of each type.

i believe you justneed another x1900gt, because after the 6.6 drivers they introduced donge-less crossfire for the card, and i think you dont need a master card either
