I got a p4c800-e delux right now with a 2.4b running @ 190 fsb ram 4:5 so i am getting 3420 on the overclock, but i want HT so ... 2.4c 2.6c or 2.8c? My ram i know can do at least 240FSB stable not sure if it can go higher since i am at this cpu's limit.

I want to be in the same area of speed. 3.4 maybe 3.5 ghz.

any suggestions.

BTW. that overclock on the 2.4b is on air, load temps 38c idle 26c it's a c1 stepping.

I heard they run pretty hot and i dont really want to use water cooling on it.

don't worry about running hot, the good heatsinks can keep the overclocked chip well below throttle temperature.

I doubt that, mabey full load or oc'ed a bit.

people over at xtremeforums say that the 2.8 is for exotic cooling. dont have the money for that so..... should i go 2.6c or order a Intel P4 2.4C (SL6Z3) from azzo?
