Wheneven I listen to MP3's, be it with Sonique, Winamp, whatever, it will occasionally freeze on me forcing me to reboot. This is the only time it locks up, and it fully locks up when it does it. It just started doing this a month or so ago. What could be going wrong. I don't even know where to start to fix it, I'm guessing a software conflict, but I'm not sure where to start looking.
 
yep, i'd be 99% certain the latency patch should fix it up. KT133 and KT7 motherboards were the main ones affected with this I believe. It was some sort of conflict caused when using a SB live card. I had this problem for months before (took me a while to narrow it down to sound, since i'd mostly crash during gaming). Latency patch fixed eveything up, and have had no problems since.
