Im trying to get my system stable @ 2400mhz, but I cant seem to find whats causing the inestability, here are my specs:

A64 3500+
1gig OCZ 3700EB Platinum
MSI K8N Neo2 Plat
9800Pro
latest drivers/BIOS
AGP/PCI are locked
2 IDE HD's but they are NOT in raid
Antec true430

1st I did some testing to make sure CPU and memory would be stable at the speed I wanted to run them at (240x10 mem 1:1 LTD4x)

--CPU passed 100% stable SPI 32M @ 2.4ghz default 1.50V (240x10) peaked @ 53C load (mem div set to 5:6 to rule out mem) probably could hit 2500 easy, but havent tested yet

as for memory stability testing, I did:

--Memtest86 100% error free (60min) @ 250FBS 1:1 VDIM 2.80 3-2-3-8 (used CPU multi of 6x to rule out CPU) with the timing on pic above..

both CPU/mem passed SPI 32M correspondingly when testing as shown above, but i when I combine them (240x10 mem 1:1 LTD4x) it doesnt pass SuperPI, I get "Not convergent in SQR" errors, here is a pic of what that looks like:

I then relaxed my mem timings (3-3-3-10) to see if that helped to: for a second run at the same settings and it lasted longer but it still didnt pass, temps are not going over 55C and I still have not seen a BSOD or neither had to reset cmos

Then I tried 9x245 (stockCPU 2.2ghz) & 1:1 mem and I get the same errors on superPI

So CPU and memory are capable of that, at least individually, but when combined it errors out on SPI.

What else could be causing it to be unstable on superPI?
