General protection fault!

History: UInteractionMaster::MasterProcessTick <- ULevel::Tick <- (NetMode=0) <- TickLevel <- UGameEngine::Tick <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop"

My computer is so unstable.. every game crashes. lets begin here. Anyone have any idea as to what causes this?

Its most likely clocked too high (im assuming your oc cause the error says unknown processor type). Just keep backing speed down until stable.

*waves* juju voodoo stick in the air.

Could be a network problem. Did you get to the point where you set the network speed settings? If you are using dialup, use the dialup settings, if you are using cable/dsl, use those settings. You might have to lower them if you get "time warping".

Never pick LAN speed, unless you are really playing on a local <1ms ping 10/100/1000 LAN (all the way back to the original UT)

I get that message when I overclock too high, like 2500+ to 3200+, I drop it to 2800+ and it works.

yeah buddy.... :rolleyes:

Im not overclocking.. Im using an Athlon 64 3000. And just about all of my games crash, or I get a blue screen. But the majority of them will crash to the desktop and give me no type of error report.

I have tested my ram, hard drive and video card in a friends computer, and they werent a problem.

Just a general crash. The code isn't perfect yet; it's beta. I get it every once in a blue moon on all of my systems, but a LOT more common on both of the Athlon64's.
