if you use your credit card to pay, most credit card c/w 1 yr. extended warranty from the original manufacturer's warranty. If you use paypal, you get nothing.
 
Find a friend that has a credit card, order it thru him, and pay him the money. Extended warranty can be used in that manner too. i.e., your friend buy you a "gift", and the extended warranty is still cover.

The only catch is, if it does fail, he has to be the one who call credit card co. for extended warranty coverage
