What card does this look like...?

Well... the heatsink looks like a one sloter but there are two connectors. It's either a 6800 GT or Ultra... my guess is that it's one of the early 6800 GT review cards.

Shameless bump. Can anyone confirm for sure whether it's an Ultra or GT review card? It's kind of important...!

ITs a GT with two molex inputs. Asus sells one currently for 419 on new egg. The ASus looks beautiful and is the core is slightly over clocked. Click the link on the Hard OCp cover page it will take you there

Okay, but this isn't an Asus card though right? I've heard people say it's an eVGA GT but the eVGA GT doesn't have the 2 molex inputs. I'm not trying to be ignorant to the fact that it's a GT but I kinda want to know WHY is it. Who's the manufacturer? Hopefully someone from a website has gotten review cards that look like this one and can clarify that it is a GT, but from the review cards I've seen I'm leaning towards an Ultra. The Fan doesn't look Ultra though, and that's what's holding me back.

Didn't notice the 2 molex connectors the first glance....looks like a eVGA 6800 Ultra.

Sorry to be a pain in the ass but, here's a picture of the retail eVGA Ultra: http://evga.com/products/moreinfo.asp?Part_Number=256-A8-N345-AX
It looks a lot different...! Unless eVGA has some Nalu Ultra's lying around. Ah well no big deal, I'll just wait till it ships and see. Either way, $380 isn't bad for a GT and pretty good for an Ultra ;)

BTW: Here's a similar looking card, except it's a GT. Notice the difference? http://i24.ebayimg.com/02/i/02/17/a2/2f_1.JPG < also that GT is missing some chips that are to the right of the HSF, unlike the card I showed which has all 5...! Very weird indeed.

One dvi and one vga would indicate a GT. I am, however intrigued at the single slot ultra pic. I would venture to say that Ultras of the configuration using dual slot and the larger fan may oc to EE speeds as easily as the GT does to Ultra. I hope i am correct since i just got my RMA from EVGA and my step up is in process. Doom arrives at my door tomorrow but it will sit until my Ultra shows. I plan to fire up Doom in style with my Ultra hopefully running at EE speeds

You bought it and you don't know what it is? For $380 it's either a 6800nu or a GT....I'm leaning more towards GT because there is no reason for 2 molex's on a 6800nu. The reason I thought it was a eVGA is because it looks exactly like my GT except for the extra power plug..

Okay, would it be too far fetched to say it's a 6800nu? What physically differenciates a nu/GT/Ultra? 2 extra molex inputs on a nu is bizzare...especially considering it looks exactly like a GT (same chip/transistor placement, etc.)

maybe its an Ultra with a GT Bios and clock speeds?

I know for a fact that MSI put out some GT's with 2 molex connectors and the speculation is that it is an ultra board just with a GT bios

Okay, this is the information I've gathered so far, in case anyone else is curious about this card. This is what some people have claimed it is:

> A reference GT on an Ultra PCB (although reference cards are illegal to sell).
> A GT because of the small heatsink seperate from the HSF (to the right of the HSF), "The small heatsink covers a number of capacitors that filter the smaller voltage of the GDDR3, since they require a very, very precise amount of it." -therefore it must be a 256MB card, since the 128's don't need this.
> It's an early BFG GT prior to their BFG stickers on the HSF. Older BIOS but dual molex inputs.
> An ASUS Gamer Edition - 6800nu, 256GDDR3 RAM (Although the ASUS has a different HSF and a blue PCB).

Any other thoughts? Has no one actually seen this card before? If so link ;)
