What cables do I need for 7.1 + X-fi ?

Ok, well I'm getting the Onkyo's 790 7.1 HTIB. I currently have the CReative X-Fi. I understand that the X-Fi can't do the digital stereo thing, but what do I need to connect the X-Fi And the Onkyo receiever through analog. What cables do I need !? THANKS

You'll need a cable like this one:

The X-Fi can do stereo and bitstream passthrough over SPDIF, it cannot encode 5.1 bitstreams over SPDIF.

Can I just hook em up via a coaxial cable ?

If you use just the coaxial you won't get multichannel audio in games, just from DVDs and other DD/DTS sources.

For DVDs, stereo music, yes. For games, you won't get EAX since.. from what I understand... the digital out on these cards bypass the X-Fi processing... which means no 24-bit crystalizer?
