What browser you use

Been using Opera for the last 7-8 years atleast, and currently using Opera 10. The *best* browser I've ever used.

Seriously, it's an awesome browser, and some of the annoying bugs present in 9.63 seem to have been fixed.

Opera 10. It's an awesome browser. The only thing I dislike about it is that it ignores formatting and smileys in highlighting (in forums like this one).

Using Chrome from the dev channel. Very stable, and they finally fixed NTLM authentication so that I can used it behind the workplace proxy + firewall.

I keep Firefox 3.5.3 on standby, since Chrome doesn't have extensions yet and some of the sites I visit have so many ads that they aren't tolerable without Adblock Plus.

Firefox 3.7 Alpha and SRware Iron(based on Chomuim with privacy fixes and smooth scrolling). I'm really looking forward to the next major Firefox release, which will update the UI to better match Windows and Aero. Speed wise, both browsers feel exactly the same, and my Firefox has 13 add-ons. The only way I can tell a difference is when I used Futuremark's Peacekeeper browser benchmark.

Firefox but lately thinking of giving other browsers a chance.

2 major problems in FF:

Sometimes copy&paste, key scrolling stop working out of no where. Extremely annoying.
I can't watch ytmnd with sound, on firefox.

I feel like I'm using this browser because the majority does...I never had any truely appriciative moments with this browser, am I missing something?

Compared to Opera and Chrome, Firefox is Slow. Slow as in bolded-with-a-capital-S-slow.

It really depends on what you want out of a browser. If you like minimalist but very fast, Chrome is the better choice. If you like having a more full-featured browser, Opera may be the thing for you. Firefox is good because of its huge extensibility. And Internet Explorer...let's just stick away from IE...

Chrome seemed pretty speedy for me but not noticeably faster than FireFox. I still think FF is the best all around browser among the "big three". I haven't used Opera in a long ass time so maybe I should give that a go again.

The speed that Chrome gives is REALLY evident on my netbook. Chrome opens SO much faster that is really makes it worth it.

FF is not that slow, and IE8 is not as bad as you think. Works great to be honest. Only reason I still use firefox is because of the addons.

Opera has compatibility problems that show up every now and then. Little things, but they still bug me.

3.5 is a lot better, but it still feels kind of sluggish, especially in places like Gmail, where Opera and Chrome's speed advantage really shine through. And I use gmail a lot.

Whereas IE to me was always really bad with memory. It also takes ages and ages to open and load new tabs, for some reason. Again, I use lots of tabs, so it's really not ideal for me.

And plus, I really like the thumbnail view that Opera gives. I know FF has an extension that gives a thumbnail view, but it's just not the same. And Turbo can be a real lifesaver in situations where I have to use dial-up speeds (like when my data runs out...)

IE8 and FF at work
Chrome and FF at home w/ IE7 soly for streaming from hulu or netflix

I refuse to use anything except NetScape. I love the AOL9.1.

up until FF became completely unstable under Windows 7 (RTM 7600, not RC 7100), i was exclusively a Firefox guy, IE8 is fine too but it doesn't crash or hang the system like Firefox does....trying out chrome, but for day to day, IE8 is where i am for now, not to mention all the sites i visit actually run faster on IE8 than Firefox ever did even on a clean install before it got buggy

I keep switching between Chrome, FF and Opera. Opera seems to have the most features that I like but I miss the add ons of FF. Chrome, is minimalist and fast and a decent change.

Opera however, is my current top choice as of today (which may change tomorrow to be honest).

firefox latest version home and at work
i regularly use IE8 at work as well since that's our only officially supported browser
