Well I have two things installed for my network in my computer. On is a PCI ethernet adapter and one is a USB wireless adapter. Then I have these 1394 Net Adapter 1 and 2. Are they suppose to be there?

Also are PCI netowrk adapter plug and play? I was wondering because I installed it to use it when needed but haven't used it since I am wireless.

Also can I leave my PCI ethernet adapter and USB wireless adapter both enabled? I left my wireless enabled but disabled my ethernet. I just wanna make sure...

The IEEE 1394 are firewire ports, which can be used for networking.

PCI is not plug-and-play in the sense of USB stuff, but has probably been picked up by windows. Check your network connections and see if a Local Area Network connection is present.

There's no advantage to disabling your ethernet port if it's not plugged into anything (except getting rid of the "no cable connected" message)
