#1. Im looking for some good info on what the diffrent PCBs are on the 9800pros. I have inharted a 9800pro 128 (now i have 2 HAHAHA) Its an older safhire that looks shorter with a floppy power connector (like a 9700pro i think, im new to ATI)

Anyways, and good info out there or mabey a link showing all the diffrent PCBs. The short one has a R350 core and my new one has a R360core.

#2. Why do some voltmod guides shoe only a VR for the memory and one for the GPU wile some have moded the GPU DDR and Vrefs?

Bump for myself.....

And what kind of overclocks shoudl i be looking for on my safhire 9800pro (r360core) before i voltmod it?

If you have an R360 it should be detected as a 9800XT, not a 9800Pro...As to what you should expect for overclocks it's a mixed bag. The only difference between the R350 and R360 is the R360 has a thermistor in it that allows the temp of the GPU to be taken, and that it should pass QA at 412MHz(stock speed). ATi might have had to bump the voltage of the R350 core to get it there so there might be a little more headroom along with a larger cooler. So you should expect to at least hit 420 or so, but it's really still a gamble as all oc's are, there's no given "you're gonna get x amount of MHz more from this core".

Actually some of the most recent 9800pro's are built with the R360 GPU, but need a BIOS flash to be detected as XT's.

Excellent. Now you can mod one until it dies, and then bury it next to those other two cards you destroyed (that WAS you, wasn't it?). :D
