Every few months due to my use of free anti virus programs I start wondering what the new big thing is out there. I can't say that I can really complain about my current solution (Avast!) other than every time I want to do a manual virus scan, the interface makes me want to punch something. Avast wants their scanner to look like a media player...I want it to look like a virus scanner.
I would love to use NOD 32 (not free, I know) but folding is treated as a virus by NOD, and that is not of any use to any of us. What I am wondering is what anti virus is behaving best for a folder right now? AVG? Avira? Avast? Norton
I am looking for low overhead (of course) and quick/reliable scans. Thanks.
