Just looking for a little advice on missing components to my HTPC setup, and how best to connect/setup the equipment properly to play everything in its 'true' format and with 'lossless' quality. Perhaps there is a thread someone knows about that can help also.

Computer

Motherboard: Asus P6T Deluxe
Processor: Intel Core i7 920
Memory: 6G Kit(3x2G) DDR3 1600 G.Skill-NQ
Graphics: Nvidia GTX 285
Power: Thrermaltake 750w
Case: Antec 1200
HDD: WD SATA 1TB
Sound: Asus HDAV 1.3 Deluxe
DVD: Pioneer SATA DVD RW
Blu-ray : ?
Tuner: ?

Other

Speakers: Logitech z5500
Display: Sharp 32" Full HD 100hz LCD TV
Reciever: ?
Amplifier: ?
(Anything else?)

Software

Operating: Windows 7 Ultimate
Playback: ArcSoft Total Media Theatre 3 Platinum
Sound: Xonar HDAV Centre
Codec: ?
Library: ?
Recording: ?
Media Management: ?

Setup

Software: Any advice on software tweaking and or additions that would be necessary.

Does TMT3 give me everything I will need playback and codec related?

What's the most clean versatile all in one management software?

Hardware: I'm not exactly sure about the correct connection methods from each device to another with this setup. I'm confused about all the input and output connections that will give me the best quality.

GTX 285 (DVI to HDMI) > HDAV 1.3 (HDMI to HDMI) > Receiver (? to ?) > Amplifier
GTX 285 (DVI to HDMI) > LCD
Speakers (Optical/Analog) > Amplifier or Reciever?

In my ASUS HDAV 1.3 Deluxe book it suggests the following connection

GTX 285 (DVI TO HDMI) > HDAV 1.3 (HDMI to HDMI) > LCD

The purpose of this is meant to be "Image up-scaling, sharpening, color revival function called Splendid HD which supposedly take place in real-time"

I'm fairly sure GTX 285 does this already?

Thanks

if you want to wait, the i5 chips & mbs are supposed to be announced real soon now (this week?) for good performance, but less than i7 pricing.
