What am I doing wrong? Canon A95

I'm not familiar with the A95, but it looks like you are only using the flash for lighting, and the flash doesn't have enough juice to get the amount of light you want for the crisp pictures.

I would start out with a tripod for stability - if you have that then you can see if it can be set to use a longer shutter speed. As long as what you are taking pictures of are stationary like that truck, it should help - especially if you can get some other light sources, especially towards the end of your flash range (looks like it is about 15-20' max)

I'm no pro, but those should help.
 
jcthornton's recommendations sound right on the money.

I looked up the A95's specs, looks like the shutter speed range is 15 seconds to 1/2000 second.

In that pic, looks like you shot at 1/60 second with flash. It also looks like there's really no other light sources, so I'd suggest the same thing jcthornton says, get a tripod and shoot a longer exposure, and try to get some additional lighting around the car.
 
Even a longer shutter speed won't help you much if there is nothing to illuminate it, even a little. Take it around a house light or when the sun is setting or something I'd suggest.
