What all do I need?

If you add a second pump for the second GTX, you could also add a second rad like the MCR220 and just put it on a second loop. Doing that the second pump could be much smaller - like an mcp355. Wouldn't need a res you can just do a T, put two low speed yate loons on the second rad and you'd have a fully functional easy to maintain second loop that should cool a gcard just fine.

LOL you do realize this is an Antec Sonata II case. I'm pushing it with mounting a single loop, and the 2nd pump would have to be in the same loop I could not imagine running a second loop in the computer. Honestly I think I would go after an extreme 24v pump like the Iwaki 20ZVT or whatever it is labeled and sell off the one I have if it didn't cool well enough. For right now I'm going single GTX, because the game I'm playing I need to run dual screens.
 
You should be able to put both gcards on the same loop and use only the one pump. The rad is what has the biggest effect on cooling probably, with that tripple rad you should be just fine.

Looking at what other people are getting with similiar SLI settups to you, none of them are breaking 50C, most are alot lower. If you're unhappy with the temps, changes can always be made later.
 
i dont mean to thread jack but i didnt want to make a new thread for this question. so say if the cpu water block had a 1/2" barb i would have to get the 1/2" ID tubing right? just making sure.

Just wondering if you ever gave thought to watching the FS thread here? You can get some killer deals from the other members on the same materials. Slightly used, but work just the same :D

I don't remember hearing you mention installing the tubing on the blocks, but something that works really sweet is to have some real hot water to dip the end of the tubing in before placing it on the barb.

Actually do what I did and get 7/16" it will be a tighter fit, is more flexible and will offer smoother transitions to the barb.
 
Meant to add too that I bought some 2inch x 2inch foam (Air Conditioning moutning foam) I plan on lining the front of the case with it to isolate the noise from the front of the case. I have enough room for it.

Thoughts?

Make sure that it is not affecting the overall heat inside the case. If you don't have adequate airflow inside the case, your hard drives and other components will end up raising the internal temperature.

I have a fan venting from external fans through a filter to the HDs and out the back of the case.

I really cannot think of more air flow I could put on them. The only other component I have any concern about heat is the memory and I bought a memory fan from OCZ to blow some air right on them.

The space up there are blocked by plastic plates, but I wanted to sound proof it a bit since I plan on mounting the pump up there to shorten the tubing and keep the flow at a max!
 
If you are concerned about heat, you could get a monitoring device of some sort. I purchased a couple of These with the same intention.

I also have a controller with the same capabilities, but decided against using it in my current configuration.
