I just purchased one of these bad boys for my Z-680's and holy crap does it make a huge difference. Everything sounds so much tighter,especially the bass which was way too boomy. The kick drum on the Deftones self titled album is rediculously tight.
 
let me guess, noisy electrical lines or appliances in your place....that's why I use a noise filter on my hi-fi.
