There appears to be no Caviar Black 3TB drive. Is there an equivalent drive? I want something that performs and I want 3TB capacity.
 
I wish WD had 3TB Blacks, shame their 4TB Blacks are extremely pricey :(. That said as Aesma stated, Seagate and Hitachi are the only ones that I know of that has 3TB platter HDD's in production.

WD Red 3TB. I'm really surprised that no one has mentioned them. I have four of them and they are great. Don't worry about the speed, they are plenty fast for storage. 3 year warranty too!

I just built a file server with 4 of these in the weekend. Had heard good things. Sick of greens dying on me...
