Hey, all.

I have a venerable WGPS606 I am using in the house; I'd like to find something similar that has a gigabit switch in it and wireless N capabilities. Print server capabilities are NOT needed.

Anyone know of any readily available alternatives for <= $100 USD? The closest two I see is the Netgear WNHDE111, but appears to only have two ports. The other is the D-Link DAP-1522. Any other suggestions?

Thanks, but the WGPS606 is not a router -- it's a bridge/WAP.

I need a bridge!

The DAP-1522 is probably your best bet.

DD-WRT running on a compatible router and revision is an alternative, but that's a lot more work and draft-n gigabit routers which support DD-WRT aren't common. The WRT310N is one possibility -- check DD-WRT's docs for hardware revision and installation formation.

The WRT600N is available in clearance / refurbs (possible hardware issues). The WRT610N is currently NOT supported by DD-WRT.

There are also a couple of "gaming adapters" around, to which you could add a gigabit switch. But some of these don't support multiple clients and it can be hard to find this out before trying it.
