I just recently bought a WD My Book 80Gb external hard drive off ebay... i'm wondering if anyone knows how to take it apart?..also, what's a good program to test the drive.. something that will also test sectors.
 
A screwdriver :p There should be a utility to test the drive on the UBCD once you get it out of the enclosure and onto a real bus.
