Well I pulled out the jumper to set it and then it fell...The jumper is different and I was wondering what way it goes in or does it matter...

for which HDD?

generally there is a lable on the top of the drive
for a PATA
far right cable select
middle master with slave present
next to last from the right slave
none master without slave present \ single

as viewed from the back with the circuit board down

SATA HDDs have jumpers for power options that arent currently enabled
sinc
e there is just one HDD per port, there is no Master or Slave

PS always place the master at the end of the cable
and never run a slave as a single

Oh I should of made myself more understandable...

The jumper in the back looks like...

On one side of the "colon sign", there is a line right next to it...

I was wonderign should that "line" mark be on the left or right or does it not matter...I am asking since the jumper can be rotated 180 degrees and the line would change sides...

Thanks Ice!
