Went to Micro Center today

Grats. Now Get an after market cooler and some DDR3 triple channel ram and Overclock that bad boy. :)
 
I got some 1333 DDR3. Forgot it in the bag when I took that pic. I am getting an H50 on Friday but am going to run on the stock cooler for now.
 
LOL I knew someone would want to know. Just a 2GB crucial kit. That was all that was in the budget. I'll get some more later. Just gotta wait on a little more cash flow and I'll get a nice 6GB set.
 
So you picked up the i7 930, the EVGA X58 board, and a 2GB (2x1GB?) Crucial kit... when are you planning on buying the rest of your parts? Which parts are you considering?

(And don't get the H50 until you get everything else; it'll still be $70-$80 a month or two -- or a few months, even -- from now.)

I already have the rest of the parts. Should be up and running in a couple of hours. Check my sig. The only thing different are the motherboard, cpu and Ram. Everything else will carry over. Oh and I did pick up a RocketFish/ Lian Li case last week. I posted it in the case section. I'll put more pics up as I go.
 
Its quite a difference from the old 900;) I got it all up and running last night then went to bed. Will probably get to do some benchmarking tonight.
