this Rez do you think it is a decent one?

and my current waterpump is kinda "loud" but not really, are ther are any ones that are almost "silent"

and the 1/2" tubing, is that just clear pvc tubing i can grab at Home Depot?
 
you could get a bigger res and a submersable pump, i think that'd be more quiet
