Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Glade to see the forum back up and running. I missed all the goings on around here.
Having the [H]ardfolding web site down was bad but the forum was far worse.
I got another 2.2GHz AMD machine going the day the forum went down and have been itching to post it in the "D" thread. Glad it's finally back up. Now I can rest.
yeah, I was missing the DC guys too. good to be back.
we just got back from CT, anyone else traveling for the season? we'll be in OH after the 25th, any [h]'ers up there near colombus?
CF: christmas colors for me too... 13 days to go
don't feel too bad, there are only 26 people who shouldn't feel threatened... and there are more cpus coming. ~10 2.4s, all windows boxen. As soon as I get physically there.
Got new memory for my main rig in the mail now (yay Christmas!), which through the trickling down of parts will let me have another Athlon XP system. Now to decide on my current spare CPUs - Palomino 2000+ (1.67, but won't OC much) or T-Bred B 1700+ (1.47 but may overclock way far)? Stock performance or overclocked performance... I think the 1700+ wins this round (leastways if I can get it to OC past 1.8 stable).
Happy Holidays to all and may your gifts enable more Folding.
Did get one more box up, another figured out and the parts ordered for it. and the case half painted for my new main box. It is up and running and folding along quite nicely. only need to finish the front and paint it and the side window frame, which i finished sunday night.
Couldn't resist building a new big box for Christmas
