weird winxp BSOD

Hello,
I have an interesting problem winxp problem.
The issue is that whenever the broweser connects to the internet, either through iexplore or through mozilla, about 30sec later the computer provides a BSOD.
I have already done a repair install thinking that the os is corrupt. And I checked the HD for bad sectors (using spin right5). I have done hardware stress test using various programs, and not seen a BSOD. At this point I am thinking backup critical files, and reformat/install. But before I explore that rout would any of you have any other suggestions?

Hardware:
P3 700 256ram
Asus p3v4x
12gig hd

Never mind, according to the BSOD
The error is with the NIC that I am presently using for this system, USB10T.
Its kraptacullar to say the least, I will try to test the system using a dialup.

That's what I kind of thought. Must've been something with *connecting* to the network/internet.
