After reinstalling windows on my hard drive a few months ago, I found that the text on all the folders and files in my C drive has goen white! So they are invisible, except when selected.

The files and folders also appear this way when browsed over the network.

Files and folders in any other location other than C:\ are unaffected.

New files or folders created in C:\ are affected.

Anyone seen this before? Anyone have a cure? I've been living with it for months. Eventually I will reformat.
