Weird Vertex 4 problem

Had it for about a week now and when I go to Computer in windows 7 to see the C: disk alot of the times nothing will come up, it will just constantly search for it. When this is happening I cant delete anything from the desktop. I will right click something and get the loading circle til I finally log off then log back on and its fine again. I can still open programs and use the computer just fine when this is happening though. Heres a screenshot of what im talking about.

Well, it's an OCZ drive so that is your first problem :D Seriously, does it usually take the same amount of time each time? Is it the only drive in your system? It could be your drives waking up (if just ssd) or spinning up (hdd) and coming ready. Temporarily turn off drive spindown/powersave in power settings and see if the problem goes away. When it does happen, how long will it sit there searching? Forever until you logout? Does it ever kick up and error? Is there anything in event viewer that jumps out about the drive? Any kind of errors? How full is it (wouldn't be about 50% full would it?) Can you post a SMART screen from CrystalDiskInfo?
 
How do I turn off spindown/powersave? I dont have any software with it. Would it be in the bios?
 
Start - Settings - Control Panel - Power Options - Edit Plan Settings (Current Chosen Scheme) - Change Advanced Power Settings - Hard Disk - Turn Off Hard Disks (Set To Never)
 
Have you turned on and off your computer 39 times in the past 4 days? It is also weird that it is showing Unknown where it should show Good. The V4 doesn't give up all that much info in its smart screen either.
 
Maybe I will get another screenshot next time I have the problem. See if it shows something different?
 
Well, make sure your BIOS and RST drivers are updated to latest, all your OS patches are done, etc. How soon after reboot does it start happening? Just for the hell of it, you might want to try a linux livecd and see if it happens there are well, could be something in your Windows install.
 
Its hard to say how long after the reboot it starts to happen again since everything still works fine. Its only when I go to delete something off the desktop or go to check out my C: drive that I find out it happened again. I made a clone before this started happening so if it keeps up I will replace it and see if that fixes the problem.
 
Its happening again right now. Its been maybe 5 minutes since a reboot. I dont see any change in the new CrystalDiskInfo
