Hey everyone...I have a curious problem. I recently bought a FX5700 Ultra and I have it overclocked to 540/1040 form 475/906.
Now normally it is around 32-36 degrees idle and 40-50 full load. But every now and then it will just jump to 80 degrees and artifact like crazy no matter what clock I put it to. This has happened twice and both times I opened the case to make sure the fan was still working and it was...I then shut off my comp let it sit for a couple minutes and then start it back up and the card is back down to 36 degrees and I go play games for hours just fine.
I just cant figure it out why it does this. all my other temps are fine when it does it...38 on the cpu, 26.5 in the case, and 27 on the northbridge...these are all on full load.
Does anyone have any Idea?
