Weird Temps (P4 2.6c @ 3.2)

Here's the thing, My Rig will idel at 35c at a sys temp of 21c
halfload your looking at 50c, Full load high 50's sometimes it hit's 60c

Is it just me or is that a bit of a jump?

I'm runnning my core at 1.6 and my DDR volt at 2.8

I know it's not airflow, (6 80mm Case fans 4 in 2 out)
As for the CPU I am running a Areo 7 with A3


I have no cable cluter and there is nothing blocking any of the fans.

Any advice?

what heatsink are you using?....I have an asus p4c 2.6Ghz at 3.2Ghz also and it sits at 25C idle and 33C at full load using thermalright SP94 and 92mm tornado.......1.58Vcore and 2.65Vdimm at 246Mhz FSB...........


Try flashing to a newer bios.......might cure your problems......

I'm am using an Cooler Master Areo 7 (as stated in my first post )
I am also using the most upto date Bios. (Ver 15)

I know that alot of ppl say Abit mobo's give higher readings (10-15c)
But then I have a sys temp of around about 10c and am idel temp of about 25c.
I don't know about you but that's alittle chilli for Pure Air cooling.

I'm waiting for a case i bought .....so my mobo is on an open air....and my room is being cooled with an AC 24/7 so yup it's pretty cool......it wont even pass 33C at 3.2Ghz when i run prime95 priority 10 for several hours........i was getting tired clocking so i have it back at 2.6 at it sits at 22C idle 25C load and sometimes 2C cooler than the board.........

I cant seem to get past 250FSB without getting BSOD>....
