So I just finished a new system build --- see my sig for the list of components --- and I have this rather odd bug with the startup process. It has a hard time starting up right, usually on a restart, but sometimes on a cold boot. It hangs with the screen totally black, at the point just before the low-res WinXP logo would normally fade in. I press the restart button on my case, let the system come up again, I get the "Your computer did not successfully boot" screen, pick the "Start Windows Normally" option, and it boots no problem. Any ideas? Anyone ever had an issue like this? It's hardly a huge deal, but a bit annoying.
