Weird problem with my U2711

Has anyone had this happen to theirs? It seems like when I touch the monitor its dissipating a lot of heat (I was wondering why my room is always warmer than the rest of the condo). Also I am led to believe that all of this heat is probably affecting the polarizer and the glue behind hence why I am getting this stain-like appearance. Another reason is that it doesn't seem to appear in the morning when I turn the monitor on but after a couple of hours of usage. Dell won't do anything because its out of warranty so I am kind of on my own. I am running both monitors on 20/50 brightness/contrast and using RGB profile.

Any ideas?

I had something similar with mine and it seems to have gone away on its own.
 
Thanks for the input! Lets hope the same happens to mine. I was actually thinking about opening it up and seeing what might be causing this but I'll hold off on that.
