Weird problem with Logitech G3 mouse!~!

I didn't know where to post this so I'm just going to post it here. I also used the search button and it didn't yield any good results.


I recently Purchased a Logitech g3 because of it's DPI capability and weight.


The bad part about the mouse is that everytime I start up the computer and move the mouse around, they cursor wouldn't move. The mouse isnt even recognized.

I also have the latest setpoint software installed from logitech.com/g3

the thing is, when I move it to another USB port, it would get recognized and would work. It's pretty annoying having to crawl back behind my computer EVERYTIME to plug the mouse in ANOTHER usb port just to get it to work.

did any1 else have the same problem? help me out here plz.
